THIS WEEK: VISIONING YOUR WAY TO MORE MONEY

The practice of visualization is well known to
celebrities, actors, musicians and athletes!
For years, celebrities, top business leaders
and athletes have used this empowering technique
to help them achieve their goals, propelling them
to where they are today!

I first came across visualizing many years ago
when learning to play golf. I read that Jack Nicklaus, one
of the greatest golfers of all time, used visualizing
to win golf tournaments.  Jack would only take a shot
when he had a crisp, clear imagine of himself making
the golf shot, then seeing the flight pattern of the shot
in his mind, and finally picturing the golf ball landing
where he wanted it to be.  This technique was instrumental
in his road to winning 20 major championships, a record
that still stands today.  Tiger Woods at an early age
was taught by his father, Earl to use visualizing.
Tiger Woods is now in close proximity of breaking
Jack’s major championship record.

I have used visualizing for years and I can
attest that it definitely works.  Let me tell you
of my latest example of visualizing and how
I was able to fly first class on my way to Detroit, MI.

A few weeks ago I needed to fly to Detroit to
handle one of my out of state rental properties.
I purchased an economy class ticket from Spirit Airlines
since they have a direct hub to Detroit.  I was
not looking forward to the flight, dealing with the
TSA security and then the cattle call to get on
the plane.   After making it through the dreaded
security check, I walked up to the gate attendant
and asked if I could upgrade to a big seat.
A big seat is Spirit Airlines first class section
of the plane. The attendant asked to see my ticket
and she started typing on the keyboard.
She said, “Here you go.”  I asked, “Did you upgrade me?”
She said, “Yes.”  I asked, “How much is it?”
She said, “I took care of it.” It felt great to not
only be in the first class section but it did not
cost me anything.

What is awesome about this experience is,
I previously visualized myself flying in first
class since I am not a big fan of flying economy.
I was ecstatic sitting in the big seat on my way
to Detroit, thus, making the flight a lot more pleasurable.

On my return trip back home, I thought
I would give it another shot with the big seat.
I asked the gate attendant the same
question, “Can I upgrade to the big seat?”
The attendant said “All the big seats are sold out;
would you like to volunteer?”  I asked in curiosity, “What is that?”
She stated that if I was willing to give up my
seat on the plane now, Spirit Airlines would give
me a free future airline ticket, put me up
in a hotel for the night, include meal vouchers,
and I can catch the next flight out. I would have
taken them up on it, however, I had a shuttle
waiting for me at LAX and I really wanted
to get back home.  Although I did not take
advantage of the offer, it felt great that I had
additional opportunities for a free flight, meals, and hotel.

When you visualize all kinds of opportunities
can open up. You can use it to get yourself
out of debt, go on that much needed vacation,
or increase your cash inflows. Visualizing used
consistently can assist you in achieving great
things. It’s time to put new pictures in front of you.
Everything is subject to change in your life.

Here is what some celebrities have done with visioning:

Comedian Jim Carrey before he was rich and famous
wrote a check to himself, in the amount of 10 million dollars
for “acting services rendered”. He postdated the check
for 1995 and carried it in his wallet. Carrey today makes
will over 10 million per movie.

Olympic champions Carl Lewis and Greg Louganis
used visualization to great success. Lewis, a track
and field athlete who won 10 Olympic medals (9 of them gold),
says that he always visualized himself winning the race.
Louganis, a gold medalist diver, used visualization
before each dive to perfect his technique.

Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball
player ever, stated, “I visualized where I wanted
to be, what kind of player I wanted to become.
I knew exactly where I wanted to go, and
I focused on getting there.”

Albert Einstein famous quote is,
“Imagination is greater than knowledge.”

Here is a list of other people who used visualizing
to achieve extraordinary results.

Alexander Graham Bell
Billy Joel
Ellen Degeneras
Oprah Winfrey
Issac Newton
Winston Churchill
Martin Luther King Jr.
Tony Robbins
Matt Damon
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Henry Ford
Ludwig Van Beethoven
Drew Barrymore
Thomas Edison
