Visioning Your Way to More Money

Update:  A few weeks ago, I wrote a newsletter
regarding The Hidden Power that will Make You Rich.
The theme of the newsletter was visualizing.  In the
piece, I shared with you a success story from one
of my clients who used visualizing under my
guidance to advance his career. His focus was
on making a new cultural change within his company.

Each night, he set a clear picture of the changes
he wanted to see in his mind.  Within a very short
time period, his boss met with him and gave him
the good news that he was being promoted.  He is
now in line to be CEO of the company.  What really
stands out in this story is that the company actually
created a position for him, only to prove further that
the cultural change is now becoming a reality under
his future leadership.  As added bonuses, the
promotion includes a 25% increase in pay
and additional perks.

This story gets even better and really shows
you how powerful visualizing is.  His wife was
a newbie to visualizing.  Initially, she had some
reservations about it from the negative programming
she was raised under.  Nevertheless, she decided
to give it a go.  When her husband received the
news that he was being promoted, she decided
to begin visualizing a dollar amount for the promotion.
She continued to have this dollar amount clear
in her mind.  She even emailed the amount to herself.
Well, as the eyes have it, her husband’s promotion
happened to be the same amount that she
envisioned: a 25% pay increase.  For proof, she
sent me the email that she had emailed to herself.

Amazing, isn’t it? This is how powerful the act of
visualizing is.  If you have a clear picture in your
mind, you can create it.

I like this quote by Norman Vincent Peale in his book,
The Power of Positive Thinking. Real Estate mogul
Donald Trump happens to be a big fan of this quote:

“Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental
picture of yourself as succeeding.  Hold this picture
tenaciously.  Never permit it to fade.  Your mind will
seek to develop the picture… Do not build up obstacles
in your imagination.”

If you have never visualized before, start now.
Don’t worry about having to get it right.  School
has taught us that receiving anything other than
a perfect score makes us a failure.  I give you
permission to get a B, C, D, or even an F in
Visualizing 101.  It doesn’t have to be 90% to
100% right.  You can score 30% in visioning and be
super successful.  All you need to do is do it.

You owe it to yourself to begin the process of formulating
and stamping a mental picture of what you would like to achieve. 
Then, before you know it, your clear picture will be at
your doorstep.
